There was a situation bugging me for a long time. More often, updates about my game collection kept flooding this blog instead of giving more interesting postings. They were listings of game titles. After months of consideration, a decision was made to split this website into two. All updates merely about my game collection were moved to a sister blog Ludus Castle Vault therefore. With this move, I supposed postings on this website could be better managed. I could focus more on information or news about games and publishers and my thoughts perhaps. Hope it would be a wise move. ^_^

Montage is one ultimate partnership word game which I have been longing for. It debuted in 1973 and then had gone out-of-print for almost 40 years. U.S. publisher FRED distribution recently announced the reprint of Montage. The news was further confirmed by the original designer Joli Kansil. this a great news to know FRED is going reviving this holy grail.
This game attracts me by its unique partnership nature in a word game. Players work in pairs. A partner has to guess the keyword secretly set by his teammate before the opposing team. The trickiest part of the game is the riddles has to clues publicly. His partner must outwit the others to be the first one deciphering the riddle.
Now I don't have to search this game on eBay anymore. Hope it will be available in the market in one or two years.

I have been taking videos about my games played since March 2007. The videos were then uploaded to my google video account. Amazingly, over 200 video clips have been uploaded already. Today I also noticed an interesting figure. One of the game videos has reached a hit count over 100 times! The video was captioned as "I have cow luck" featuring the game "Cosmic Cows".
Pong showed me an amazing music video featuring highly artistic sense of dice animation. Even if you were not a dice lover, you would appreciate the creation of this video.

I was once a tabletop paper-and-pencil role-playing game (RPG) enthusiast, particularly of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (AD&D). Even now, I still love genuine RPG in heart very much, though I have not played it for quite many years. DRAGON and DUNGEON are two long life magazines published for this renowned RPG. Today, a news was confirmed about the ceasing of publication of them. Although I am no longer a reader of these two magazines, I can feel upset from my deepest inside. The evolution of Internet does change the world so much, as so does change many values as well. RPG here and now looks the same name, but it probably means very differently from what I experienced and expected.
